The drawing above was a collaboration with the young lady who was moved to sit beside me on a flight. She is probably going to medical school one day. She shared some junior mints with me.

On the flight home, another young lady saw no one was sitting in the seat next to me and she joined me and took the window seat. She is from south of the border but now lives in the mountains with her 'man'. The hippy culture refers to their acquaintances that way. She likes Keller Williams and jam bands. She shared her water with me and let me listen to her iPod.

Tsunami relief is in full force everywhere I go. Now, if Red Cross can avoid fucking it up like they did with 9/11, this should be a good thing. People are donating and that is a good thing. Wake up calls without roosters.

New Year's Day. Strangers say hi. Strangers say happy new year! By the following week, it's back to heads down and ignoring.

This year was the first year I didn't wake up with a hangover from New Years Eve partying. It is funny when you think about it. Millions of us wake up to start the year feeling like shit from drinking. What a great way to start a year.

I wanted to be seen. I wanted to be known. Now I just want to dream. I just want to be left alone.
