After seeing tonight's election coverage I have come to the conclusion that I have spent too much time over the last 4 years focusing on political news in a country I can't even vote in. Sure, it affects all of us but I have basically admitted to myself after this outcome that I will stay positive and trust that people will work all this out somehow on their own. I've told people that no matter who wins, you will have a country split apart still. What is it going to take to get everyone to come together there? Hopefully nothing bad.

Democracy is a good way of looking in the mirror. Bring out the lawyers, the naysayers, the warmongers, the hippies, the religious zealots, the botched computers, the stock market scandals and so on and so on.

I am jumping off the ship on this issue and letting destiny take its course. I am going to control my own destiny and I implore that to everyone else. That is how you make a difference. Excuse me as I am now going to take up clay pottery, knitting, horseback riding, yoga, the South Beach diet, chess, and consuming large amounts of acid. Stay tuned for more fun!
