It's not easy cutting the chains you are attached to. In fact, it's not common across civilization as we know it. Just because the chains are cut off doesn't mean there can still be a great relationship though with the former 'masters'.

We are surrounded by people that are actors. We watch actors constantly. Why is it so shocking when someone is not acting the way everyone else is? It's amusing? It's torture. It's reality. Once you accept reality, torture ceases to exist and pleasure is your favourite movie star, and sadly enough, an actor.
