Most people spend their entire lives walking along the sidewalk. It is safe, don't have to think much and not much chance you are going to fall off. Every time I hear a story about a friend who knows a friend that is young and has terminal cancer I think that walking life on a tight rope isn't that careless afterall. In the end, it is still all about balance there is just a greater risk of falling off. Whether you are on a sidewalk or a tightrope you are always susceptible to a unexpected gust that can cause you to lose your balance.
Someone I am used to seeing during the weekdays is dying of cancer. I won’t see them during weekdays anymore.
Someone I know left everyone in their life to move to the Midwestern United States to help fight cancer.
Two someone’s I know are renovating their living spaces.
Two other someone’s I know are trying to save their marriages and are being successful.
Someone I know is working hard to help the less fortunate but she is working too hard that she can’t help herself.
Someone I know needs a vacation and is getting one very shortly.
Someone I know is going to Mexico tomorrow, but not for vacation.
I have many more someone stories but my head hurts from thinking about them all.
All of these people are some of the most positive people I've ever met regardless of how they appear to be.
I missed my game today...again. I've made it to one game all year. The first game. I was going to make it to the game today but unfortunately I suffered a slight injury last night in the nearby mall parking lot. I was walking with my hands in my coat pockets and slipped on some ice. I landed square on my back. I groaned and looked at the stars in the sky and the new stars created in my head. I then heard a woman call out way off in the distance asking if I was ok. I quickly got up from the fall and said yes. She yelled out again and asked if I was sure. I said yes again. She then said she heard the fall from where she was. Keep in mind, she was yelling at me. As I started walking away, I checked my bearings using the cross method (Spectacles, testicles, wallet, and watch) and I realized I was still in the right dimension.
More to come.
