Mother's Little Helper
Once again today we witness a nice distraction. The darker cruelty was the hoax of the media. I'm distracted again. You concede that there should be bigger headlines involving the admitting of a blatant lie. It is not fraud. It is an honest mistake. Manipulation is easily achieved with vocabulary placed properly. Instinct is the only defense.
See The World, Let's Get Out Of Here Fast:
The first thing you do when you are born is mostly likely start to cry. I've always found that quite interesting and appropriate. If you're lucky or not, the next logical step is for you to have milk from a cow. If you are lucky or not, your diaper will not give you an infection that will affect you for the rest of your life. If you are lucky or not, you were not an accident. If you are lucky or not, you will not understand anything that I am typing here.
By the age of 5, you are presented idols. They come in the forms of dolls or toy soldiers. Points of authority are made visible to the child in these early stages. Religion is introduced as a means of order. Being policed is a good thing. People talk to you like a child and you are told not to cross the street. You are brainwashed and institutionalized before you even have a chance to think and check into your first institution. It will take a lifetime for many to unlearn. Most won't care and you must realize that they shouldn't and were never meant to. Accept mediocrity from everyone else but let it not make you angry. Do not accept mediocrity from yourself.
To the young women: Be well dressed. Go shopping and shop often. The greatest common factor humans have is the lowest common denominator. Which is: Excerpt edited and under review. Skip paragraph. When something tragic happens one day, your figurehead will tell you to keep shopping. Respect yourself and your parents.
To the young men: Learn to shoot guns. Fight for someone elses cause and base your life around that. If you don't support the war, turn to a sports team. Most of the wars we fight in are not our own. They were based on historic events that didn't involve us directly. Respect yourself and your parents.
Things people really need: guns. drugs. designer clothes. tv. sleep. hair. a routine. a plush lawn. ripped abs.
Things people don't need: under 100% commitment. being listened to. an opinion. an identity. postal codes to help out telemarketers.
I often think a cabin in a remote forest would be a great place to live. But the fact remains: I cannot function without people around me.
As a teenager, you may find that many of the things you have been told are not true. Those black spots on sidewalks are from bubblegum.
If you stop and think about why you are here. If you stop to think about the stars and the sun and the sky. If you stop to ask why. You are very likely not to have an answer. If there is a heaven, then why wouldn't we be logical enough to want to get there sooner? If there are billions of stars in our galaxy, why don't we explore that aspect of life instead of watching Entertainment Tonight? Questions that are not meant to be answered.
Paragraph under review. Excerpt to be published at later date. I'm very funny in person.
If you were told to leave this planet today, would you be happy about the things you did, or would you be upset about the things you didn't do?
Explore and trust your instincts. That's what I said in 2040. Hope to see you then.
